ETRAK Team Presenting at APTA Alabama Conference in August

We are thrilled to announce that two members of our ETRAK team, Thomas Twitty (bio), the owner and founder, and Dr. Lesley Parrish, PT, DPT (bio), an integral part of our Advisory Board, will be presenting at the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) Alabama Conference this August. This annual conference will take place at Samford University in Birmingham, AL from August 25th to 27th. It will bring together physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, and students of physical therapy from across the state. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in 20 diverse presentations, expanding their knowledge of physical therapy, fostering connections, and earning continuing education credits.

On Saturday, August 26th, between 3:30 and 5:30 pm, Thomas and Dr. Parrish will present a session titled "Implementation of Wearable Technology Measurement Units to Aid in Evaluation and Exercise Progression for Patients and Performance." This session will delve into the utilization of wearable technology for evaluating movement in the pelvis, hips, trunk, and upper extremities during functional movements. By utilizing the ETRAK Phoenix wearable, our presenters will demonstrate the significant impact of real-time, objective data on therapy sessions. They will highlight how this data can be harnessed to assess athlete readiness and prescribe tailored exercises to facilitate an efficient, effective, and pain-free return to activity.

For further details on this session, please refer to the APTA Conference 2023 Schedule (Session 9).
